Kanja milk cooling plant is a project that was proposed jointly by three electoral areas namely Kanja North, Mbuinjeru North and Kanja South electoral areas. The project implementation was done by project implementation committee members from the named electoral areas in Rukuriri Tea Factory until commissioning of the project on 02nd day of November 2017 when the project was handed over to the community through elections conducted the same day .
